EU consumers normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase — digital goods work a little differently.
The general rule
Under EU consumer protection law, buyers of digital content have a 14-day right of withdrawal from an online purchase.
Why keys are the exception
That right can be waived when you explicitly consent to instant delivery and acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once the content is delivered. At checkout, you'll see a consent step for this — accepting it is what allows your key to be issued immediately instead of after a waiting period.
In practice:once a key is delivered, it can't be withdrawn the way a typical online order can, since the "content" — the key itself — has already been provided.
