How to activate your key on Steam

Step-by-step

1. 1Find your keyGo to your Boosteroid account and open My Orders → Order history. Your key appears next to the game once payment is confirmed — it's also sent to the email used at checkout. Copy it exactly, including dashes.Tip: Click the "copy" icon next to the key instead of selecting the text manually, to avoid grabbing an extra space.
2. 2Open the Steam clientRedemption has to happen inside the Steam desktop app — not the website. If you don't have it installed yet, download Steam from steampowered.com and log in with your Steam account (or create one, it's free).
3. 3Open "Activate a Product on Steam"In the top menu bar, go to Games → Activate a Product on Steam...
4. 4Follow the setup wizardClick Next through the welcome and agreement screens, then paste your key into the product code field exactly as it appears on your order page. Click Next again.
5. 5Confirm and installSteam will show the game title to confirm it's correct, then add it to your library. Click Finish, and the download will start automatically — or you can queue it for later from your Library.That's it: the game now lives permanently in your Steam Library under your account.

If the key doesn't work

Region locked:Some keys only activate in specific countries. Check the "Can be activated in" field on your product page — if you're traveling, try again from home or over a local connection rather than a VPN, which Steam may flag.

Already activated:Each key works once. If you see "this code has already been redeemed," check whether it's already sitting in your Steam Library before contacting support.

Invalid code:Double-check for mixed-up characters — 0 (zero) vs O, or 1 vs I vs l are the most common typos. Re-copy the key rather than retyping it.
